PPL News & Events: Adaptation Initiative

CTI PFAN – Africa Forum for Clean Energy Financing 2011 / 12


We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2nd cycle of the Climate Technology Initiative Private Financing Advisory Network (CTI PFAN) Africa Forum for Clean Energy Financing (AFRICEF 2); the call for proposals and Forum guidelines are attached.

Clean energy projects,selected via the call for proposals will be provided with free professional support and assistance on the preparation of bankable business plans and professional investor pitches and connected with investors and finance at a specially organised Investor Forum to be held in Johannesburg in February 2012.AFRICEF 2 is open to entries from projects in any African country.

Applications, consisting of the application form, a project proposal and the project data sheet must be received by 26 September 2011.

 

 

 

AFRICEF-2 is sponsored and co-organised by CTI (www.climatetech.net), CTI PFAN (www.cti-pfan.net), the United States Agency for International Development (www.usaid.gov), the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (www.reeep.org) & the International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer (www.icett.or.jp) together with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) of Uganda(www.rea.or.ug) , Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) of Uganda (www.psfuganda.org) and the South African National Energy Development Institute (www.saneri.org.za).
